Rental of the facilities

The Hardt Foundation facilities (main house, orangery, greenhouse, garden and park) are available upon request for events (conferences, colloquia, seminars, concerts and other events) on various topics in which classical Antiquity has a prominent, but not exclusive, place. Events organised by private individuals are also welcome.

For events over several days, accommodation of guests is possible according to availability and the Foundation’s opening periods.

During its opening periods, the Foundation can provide lunches, dinners or cocktail receptions for external guests as part of an event held on its premises.

Under the agreement between UNIGE and the Hardt Foundation, the latter agrees to make the facilities available free of charge to any lecturer wishing to organise a symposium, a conference or a seminar. However, catering and accommodation are to be covered by the University.

Hardt Foundation Orangery Reservation Form

The Hardt Foundation rents its spaces to individuals subject to availability and the feasibility of the planned event.

Rental rates are per day.

The rooms are primarily intended for guests staying at the Foundation for research purposes. Accommodations for external guests are  subject to availability and only in connection with an event held on our premises.
